My husband had, pardon me for saying this, old-people's breath. Yet he's only 43. I don't know what happened but about 5 months ago he started having really bad breath. He could brush his teeth and chew gum and I could still smell that smell through it all. I couldn't believe how strong it was. He could be standing 5 feet from me and I could smell it. In the car I could smell it. He could even drink a beer and it I could smell that weird smell through that. I was always under the impression super-awful breath came from within - like something you ate or some sort of disease. I heard about this product on the radio and I said, "I have to try this out." So, that same day I ran across it in Wal-Mart and I bought it! I witnessed results the very next morning! This stuff really works. I brush my teeth twice a day every day (usually) but I did not realize that my breath was still so bad that it was really turning my wife off. She could smell it from several feet away and it really bothered her. It also bothered her to see me talking to someone else at close range because she just knew that I was blasting them with this terrible bad breath and she was embarrassed. When she finally started to talk to me about my breath I thought she was being overly sensitive. My breath didn't smell bad to me but when I finally started to really listen to her and also started getting comments from my 5 year old son, I thought I better do something about it. I had tried other mouth washes before but I dreaded putting them in my mouth. It was torture and they only lasted a short time. I want to rave for smart mouth, formerly known as TriOral. I purchased Tri Oral from QVC a few years ago. I'm a product junkie and even though I loved it when I bought it, I continued to buy different brand oral rinses. After moving recently I pulled it out of the medicine closet to give another try. I used it the other night before bed, I woke up the next morning and not until on the way to work did I realize something was wrong. It hit me that I had forgotten to brush my teeth! My mouth felt and tasted so clean, that during my morning routine it didn't cross my mind to brush my teeth. Due to allergies I get lots of nasal drip, and get tonsil stones, so brushing is a MUST for me. Yesterday was the 2nd time since re-trying this product that I forgot to brush my teeth in the mornings because my mouth had no odor or morning breath taste. I'm not so sure if I forgot to brush or if I thought I had already brushed because my mouth tasted so fresh, but I knew! I had to write in to rave for this product.

So I kept hearing the commercial on the radio about some revolutionary Mouthwash that could eliminate bad breath, so after like a month of hearing the commercial I finally went to the store and said to myself "what the heck - just get it".
So I got it and that night I carefully read the instructions, brushed my teeth, did the mouthwash, and went to sleep.
Listen to me!....I woke up and.....NOTHING!....I felt nothing, I blew into each hand....NOTHING!...I blew into both hands clasped together...SHUT UP!!!...NOTHING!!

I can't stand talking to people who have bad breath! Yuck! Knowing how I feel, I was distraught when my 10-yr-old girl, who has ongoing sinus issues, developed halitosis. Last week a classmate made a comment about it and it broke my heart. Children can be pretty unkind. I searched the internet for additional sinus remedies (we neti, etc) and stumbled onto your site for halitosis. I've always been sensitive about other people's breath that includes mine too.
Sometimes after I eat strong flavored food containing lots of spices or garlic, I'd notice my breath was bad on occasions. I've tried so many different kinds of toothpaste, mouthwash etc...But as you all know, they just cover up the odor maybe half an hour or so...very temporary and fades away so quickly ... I will never be without this product for the rest of my life. This product is PURE MAGIC!! I can't believe my breath is odor free virtually 24 hours a day with just simple gargles only twice a day. SmartMouth was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was very self conscious of my breath. I never knew I had bad breath, until my co-worker told me that I needed some mints about 12 years ago. Ever since then, I would not talk to people directly. I would always ask my husband or my children to smell my breath. They were really getting annoyed with me. One day in prayer, I ask God to find me a mouthwash or something that would make my bad breath go away forever. I was watching television one day and saw you're commercial. I went to the store, the first time to buy it, but I thought it was too expensive. I told my friend that I started to buy the mouth wash and she asked me, 'Does it have alcohol in it?", and I told her no. She told me then I should go back and get it, because alcohol is what makes your breath stink. I did not know that, so I went back and bought it. Now I buy two boxes at a time, because once my husband did not smell my breath in the morning, he started using it. I always go buy a box when I get to the last one. Please, please do not take this off the market. If you do please send me a truck load...LOL! My family thinks I am crazy now, because now I walk up to them and say..."You don't smell my breath, because I have Smartmouth"

My husband has had a problem with bad breath for as long as I have known him (20 plus years). We tried everything. I always felt it was bacteria constantly brewing that did it. I started using Smartmouth Mouthwash in June of 2008. I immediately noticed that I no longer had bad breath EVER! I have a recorded voicemail from 2007 where my niece who is 7 years old now, called to tell me that SMART MOUTH really works. She had been battling bad breath and was being picked on at school. I was at the Hinman Dental Convention and I tried a sample and bought the convention promo size. My husband and I are dedicated smart mouth users now. I have had stank bad breath for as long as I can remember and have brushed, rinsed, flossed to no end and just about scraped the taste buds off my tongue in an effort to get rid of the foul odor and taste with no success. When I had my son 10 years ago, my breath seemed to go from bad to horrible! I found out that the hormonal changes and post nasal drip gave me that extra special rotten egg, feces smell. I tried just about every over the counter product I could find and even paid a couple of hundred dollars purchasing a product from overseas I found online that guaranteed to "cure" my bad breath.
While I was waiting for shipping, I decided to try yet another over-the-counter product (I methodically went down the aisle looking for something - anything that would work.) I purchased SmartMouth and on the first day noticed an immediate change. The nasty taste went away and that constant feeling of needing to clear my throat from the post nasal drip was starting to diminish. By day three I had the nerve to ask my son to smell my breath. After having to put him in a headlock and bribing him, I asked him what it smelled like and he said "nothing". Now my breath has been described as a lot of things, but "nothing" has never been one of them.
The next couple of days, I did the same thing and got to where he would smell without me putting him in a headlock. I was convinced that it was really working!
Now here's the stupid thing...when I ran out I thought (still methodically going down the mouthwash aisle) that I would try a different product that was a couple of dollars less and claimed to do the same thing but within a couple of uses, found I was back to putting him in a headlock.
I have since come back to the light and can again confidently have a face to face conversation with someone without wondering if their scratching their nose was to stop the burning my breath was causing.

At last I have found a product that has helped my chronic bad breath. I've had chronic bad breath for years and I've tried everything from tongue cleaners to Therabreath which claimed to be very effective and nothing I tried kept my bad breath from coming back within an hour or less.
I read some of the reviews online about Smart Mouth Mouthwash and people seemed to have experienced elimination of their chronic bad breath so I thought I'd give it a shot although I was a little skeptical about it seeing how I had had high hopes for Therabreath and even that let me down.
After I purchased Smart Mouth Mouthwash, I rushed home and tried it following the instructions on the box and WOW! I felt the difference right away; I even woke up the next morning without morning breath! I was amazed...and most definitely hooked.
I've been using Smart Mouth Mouthwash for less than a week and I am beyond satisfied with this product. It's brought my confidence back and I can only hope that this product will never be discontinued.

Ok, here's the REAL deal. Those of you who have bad breath know what a total pain in the a** it is. Just a couple of months ago, and for as long as I can remember, it was all I could think about...and HOW to get rid of it! I have tried literally everything - flossing regularly, cleaning my teeth three times a day, cleaning my tongue, going to the dentist and the hygienist regularly, and nothing - I mean NOTHING- worked. That is until I saw Smart Mouth on a shelf at Walgreens when I was shopping for toothpaste... At first I was skeptical about buying it since I had already tried what seemed like everything. I have spent many years looking for something that could stop my bad breath. My breath was so bad that one day I went my Dr.'s office, and when I opened my mouth to speak she backed into a wall trying to get away from the smell of my breath. My teenage daughter told me that my breath smelled like poop. It was so bad, I could not face people and talk to them.
One day when I was at work, my daughter called me and told me she was watching Rachel Rae; she said Smart Mouth was very good. It is the mouthwash of the stars. So, I tried it. I could not believe the results. When I used SmartMouth mouthwash, I could speak freely. No more embarrassing moments. I love this product. However, I am having a hard time finding the gum and mints. It would be nice if you could put the mouthwash in a very small one dose two sided disposable vile. This would make it easier to carry and have on hand for those times I eat Garlic/Onions.

I usually do not do testimonials on-line about a product but this product worked so great for me that I spread the word to my sister and cousin who live out of town. Both were very impressed by the results. I am in shock that even after I eat my lunch with chicken parmesan or even chocolate my breath is fresh. All I smell is air and nothing else. As somebody that thought my "stank breath" was from my digestive tract, I, like everyone else was trying and swallowing everything to mask the problem. My confidence around people was shattered. People thought I was an introvert.
One night I was surfing the web for bad breath cures, SmartMouth popped up. To be honest, the name turned me off from wanting to read more. I don't know why, but I read further. The more I read the more I got excited. I put an online order for the rinse and toothpaste. I could not wait for it to arrive. The next day I went to a local pharmacy, however they only had the rinse. I purchased a box, went home and immediately started using it. The taste was alright, but my focus was on how this stuff works; there are plenty of oral care products that taste good.
My wife, bless her heart was my "test dummy"; I would blow my breath in her face and asked, "Is it working?" To my surprise she said "yes".
To make a long story short, SmartMouth really and truly works. I am not any kind of paid endorsee, just somebody that dared to try the product. If you are experiencing "stank breath" please, do as I did, try SmartMouth; your mouth, wife, kids, grandkids, friends, and enemies alike will "thank you".

Oh my goodness! I was one of the skeptical ones at first; I felt there was no product in this world that could cure bad morning breath.
I've been suffering from "bad" breath as long as I can remember. I would brush my teeth, scrape my tongue, and gargle with mouth wash for more than 60 seconds; in less than an hour later my breath was a minty funk. I was so embarrassed and this really lowered my confidence and self-esteem level. I would write notes when possible to communicate with people just so I wouldn't have to have a face-to-face conversation with them. There have been no gums, mints, strips, sprays or detox cleaning that would help my breath, until I purchased Smart Mouth. Smart Mouth is a miracle in a bottle! Let me just start off by saying that I NEVER endorse products, especially ones I buy from TV commercials. I don't exactly recall when I first saw Smart Mouth, but I DO know at the time it was Tri-Oral. I have been suffering from bad breath for as long as I can remember. That is THE most frustrating thing EVER, especially if you are a people-person. Anyway, I ordered it, (maybe from QVC), but I was so anxious to get it, I even dreamt about it before it came, wondering to myself, "Could this really be the answer to bad breath after all this time?" Well, I got it in the mail, and gave it the acid test: I rinsed with it first thing in the morning. I didn't eat a thing for most of the day and into the afternoon. As you all know, sometimes not eating anything can make your breath smell even worse. So later on in the day, I knew I had to do a breath test--someone who I trusted and loved and someone who I knew would tell me the truth--my sister. So I got real close to her, a little closer than I would to the average person, and asked if she smelled something. She said no. I then got a little closer, and talked directly to her face, asking the same question. She said no again. She then asked, "How did you do that?" I just laughed because clearly she was shocked. I told her about Tri-Oral- now known as Smart Mouth. She was AMAZED. I cannot even tell you. She ordered some that same day for her and her family.
Here's the cold hard reality: Bad breath can be a deal breaker. Unfortunately most people will not tell you if your breath is bad, and that's the tough part--even those that love you. Some will just "put up with it" because they want to spare your feelings. I'm sure that was the case for me. I mean, true, I've had a few people, especially kids, be brutally honest. But sometimes I was in denial because I could not smell it myself. But the truth is, most people cannot smell their own breath, no matter how much you/they try. When I think back, it's hard to imagine how many people I may have offended, but they were afraid to tell me. How many times did a girl dump me because of my hygiene, although I brushed and flossed regularly and thought I was ok? I don't even want to think about it.....
But NOW, we all have access to a REAL solution, and like others below, I will preach it to WHOMEVER will listen. Smart Mouth is AWESOME, and it works--period, point blank! I have stocked up on it through Auto Delivery so I have enough for about another 6-9 months should something catastrophic happen! ;-)
This truly is the best thing invented since sliced bread.

This product is the best I have ever tried. I woke up one day with a really bad taste in my mouth and it would not go away. My mom got me started using SmartMouth Mouthwash. I was amazed at how it really does what it says it will do. I first noticed a difference with my mom's breath, it was always fresh and pleasant. I asked her what happened. She said SmartMouth. I bought some the very next week and have been using it ever since. It's really wonderful and it WORKS! I just had to say thank you very much. I've had to deal with having bb for about 15yrs now. Looking back over my life I have missed so many opportunities working in the fields that I went to school to work in because of my bb. Looking back I can see how my life was stolen from me and my joy was gone. I would get all worked up with family get togethers, and meetings on the job, talking with coworkers and I would always watch them to see if they are telling someone about my breath and 99 percent of the time they did and would laugh and say mean things. I even stopped going to church because of sitting close to others and try to keep my mouth closed with worship and I eventually stop going. I started using Smartmouth after I was told not to sing during Sunday Mass by my children. They told me my breath was bad. I informed them that I had brushed my teeth before we left the house. They said, "It smells like bad breath and toothpaste". After mass, I was reading the Sunday Paper and found a $2.00 coupon for SmartMouth. SmartMouth promised to keep my breath fresh all day and night. Through the years I remember hearing my mom say, "Your breath is strong". Once even, "Aunt Carol your breath hurts me", from my four year old niece. So, I thought I would give it a try. AND I DID. Well- WOW- I'm still in shock and so excited to tell the whole world. It works- BABY- it really works. How could I tell it worked? Well, I paid my daughter a dollar every time she smelled my breath. Do I have bad breath? Yes or No? You get paid either way. Why did I pay her, because people with bad breath can't tell themselves or at least I couldn't. I needed her to tell me if it was working. The real thriller for me was when I woke up in the morning before brushing my teeth and asked my daughter to smell my breath. She said, "That will cost you $2.00". She and I were completely shocked when she said, "No!" I knew I needed to call the makers of SmartMouth and tell them they had a GREAT PRODUCT. I started a new job and it is great to know I no longer need to worry, is my breath bad? At my last Dental Appointment I no longer had red irritated gums around certain teeth. I'm 50 years old and had this problem for years. My hygienist said my gums showed great improvement in six months. She asked me what I did different. I am a Registered Nurse and have post nasal drip, which causes severe bad breath. I also suffer from tonsoliths due to the post nasal drip, which makes my bad breath even worse. I have tried gums, sprays, mints, mouthwashes.....brushing my teeth constantly but everything I tried was only a temporary fix. I was embarrassed to get too close to my patients, never mind family and friends!
I saw this product at Wal-Mart and decided to try one last product. I'm not into a lot of the advertising hype that you see nowadays, but I saw this on the shelf and thought why not try once more. I was impressed with the credentials of the inventor of the product, Dr. Marvin Cohen who authored the bad breath section of the 1998 Encyclopedia Britannica, Medical Edition.
I followed the directions exactly as stated. I noticed a difference THE FIRST TIME I USED IT!
I've used this product for two days and I can already tell you that I no longer have that funky bad breath. I actually asked a friend to smell my breath-that was the first time in years that I actually voluntarily asked someone to smell my breath. They told me my breath smelled slightly minty but that was all.
NO BAD BREATH!!

I happen to see the Rachel Ray show the morning when they had the soap stars on talking about this product. I went out immediately and purchased this product. IT WORKS, IT REALLY WORKS. This stuff ACTUALLY works! I suffered with bad breath for as long as I can remember, and tried ALL types of mouthwashes but none worked. You can feel the difference in your mouth as you use it. It will create a quick dry sensation when you rinse but it goes away after and it really work all day. Have to congratulate the person who made this. I will use this every day.

I love that this mouthwash actually works!!! For many years, this has been a time consuming problem for me-trying to brush my teeth, use mouthwash, gum, mints, etc. throughout the day (even at work) to try to stay 1 step ahead of bad breath, but to no effective end. With some embarrassment, I even consulted a gastroenterologist who couldn't find any medical cause or offer me any solution to my problem. He dismissed it saying there could be worse problems. Agreed, but that didn't help me. It was robbing me of my confidence to be close to people. Even my husband and children would kindly let me know so I could pop a mint which might temporarily help. SmartMouth was the first and only product that actually works!!! It has made such a difference in my life! Please don't ever stop making it!

I am hooked on SmartMouth. I simply had bad breath. I lacked confidence in speaking to people too closely and always had gum in my mouth. Smart Mouth was the smartest thing I have done for myself in a long time.
I had to have a lot of dental work with surgery on my gums along with 12 crowns for my teeth which left me full of bad breath. I would tell my dentist about the bad breath and he said he couldn't smell anything, well that's because I began using SmartMouth! I'm all healed now and won't be without SmartMouth, this product got me through a tough time as I deal with the public all week and often into the evening for business meetings and SmartMouth lasts a long time. I feel confident and wouldn't be without SmartMouth.

Not sure where I first saw the advertisement, but I went and got it. I have been using SmartMouth for over a week. I have diabetes and post nasal drip and always have a funky taste and odor in my mouth. After just 1 use, I could already smell and feel the difference. I even forgot to rinse a few times at nighttime, but my breath was still good. I showed it to my husband who had awful breath and at night, if you face the wrong way you could get a whiff of it. He tried using it only in the morning and already his breath is not offensive. I told him to try using 2X a day and we'll see how it works. For me, I no longer have the embarrassment of nasty smelling breath. THANK YOU and I have been telling all my relatives about it.

My Brother is suffering of HIV and he takes tons of medication. I think his medication may be the cause of his chronic halitosis. I noticed on his last visit home his breath did not smell at all. I never told him he had bad breath. I think however he must have known perhaps by his spouse or something. He made a special effort to let me know about this product. I wonder if he was hinting me.
I have been using SmartMouth for the last couple weeks. I don't know if I ever had a problem or not but just by what wonders this product has done for my brother, I can honestly say that I have absolute confidence now. Thanks so much for helping my brother. :)

Although he brushes and flosses regularly, my 10 year old son has had chronic bad breath for a couple years now. I am so excited about finally finding a product that actually helps me to have fresh breath all day and all night. This is a truly amazing product. I would go as far as stating it is unique. I can tell you from personal experience it is the ONLY product that will eliminate bad breath and/or mouth odor. Every night my wife would notice my bad breath. I have no idea where it was coming from since I have good dental hygiene. I was so frustrated, tried all the usual stuff, Listerine, Cepacol, Plax, Scope, etc. I would brush my tongue, scrape my tongue, brush with every conceivable toothpaste, nothing worked.
I ordered SmartMouth just out of frustration. I used it as prescribed, twice a day. I purposely did not tell my wife. Every time I tried a new product I wanted to see if it really worked without any pre-conceived ideas. By the third night I finally asked her and she realized that there was no odor. Since then I have used it every day and it works - IT REALLY WORKS!. I know I sound way too happy but I struggled with this problem for over 2 years - it was depressing.
This stuff is so easy and mild tasting. I dreaded trying to rinse with those harsh tasting burning mouthwashes. All you do is mix "part A" with "part B" in a small measuring cup and rinse for 30 seconds. What I don't get is how it works? It tastes like a very mild watered down minty mouthwash. You only need to rinse once in the morning and once at night. How something so simple can resolve such a vexing problem, while all the huge pharmaceutical companies cannot, baffles, and angers, me. I really wish someone had turned me on to this a long time ago. The manufacturer suggests 4 pumps from each bottle, I have found that 3 work just fine, this will make it last a bit longer and save you some money.

Just Learned that TriOral, now called SmartMouth is being sold in drug stores. Good news for people who don't normally shop via catalogues and may not even have been aware of TriOral's existence!
As a restaurant critic who eats in all languages and is especially fond of Korean, Thai and other garlicky indulgences, this product has been a (social) lifesaver.

I have used so many products and none of them really work like SmartMouth. I have avoided talking to others in close proximity due to worrying about my breath. I've always had a problem with halitosis no matter how much I brushed, flossed or rinsed with mouthwash. I am constantly chewing gum or using breath mints but as soon as they are gone I have bad breath again. It really feels like a miracle to have this product; I wish I had known about it sooner. Absolutely love this stuff. I have tried many other products that have temporarily masked the real issue. Breath Rx was my last go around. SmartMouth mouthwash works. That's all there is to it. It really works.

My husband is diabetic and has to take insulin 3-4 times a day. Despite the fact that he brushes his teeth and uses mouthwash, it still doesn't help, especially at night. I'd pull the covers over my head when he snores or when he would exhale deeply. As the kids say, "his breath is kicking like Jackie Chan."
I saw this dentist on the TODAY show talking about SmartMouth. I went out that same day and bought it. In reading the directions it says that in 1-2 weeks you could wake up without morning breath. My husband would tell me my breath was stale and it bothered me because I'd never had a problem before. I started a quest to find out why and how I could fix it. I saw a dentist, periodontist, and ear nose and throat doctor, all of whom told me that mouthwash and toothpaste can actually make matters worse by drying out your mouth. Needless to say, whether my breath was bad that day or not, I was very self conscious about it. I avoided being too close to people, which was especially sad with my husband.
I am a registered nurse and have become very skeptical over the years with big-claiming products. I have heard more stories from patients about weight loss pills that did next to nothing, creams and potions for aging, etc. I kept seeing ads for SmartMouth but figured it would be another wild goose chase. Then one day I was in a supermarket and there it was. I figured why not one more try and that's it. From the first time I used SmartMouth, I knew there was a difference from anything I tried. I just wanted to say what a lifesaver SmartMouth was for my 13 year old daughter! As you can imagine, teen years are hard enough but add a case of extreme bad breath and it really makes it a whole lot worse.
We tried many different products, but nothing helped. I read about SmartMouth in People Magazine and WOW - after the second day, no more bad breath! She only rinses with it in the morning and it works all day and even when she wakes up in the morning, her breath is still good.

I saw your product ad in the Sunday paper and purchased it, figuring there was nothing to lose. Perhaps, it could possibly work? Within 24 hours, there was a noticeable change in the way my mouth felt and tasted. I'm on medication that makes my mouth dry and stale, and your product actually makes (and keeps) my mouth fresh!
Bad breath kept me quiet. I feel confident enough to speak now and I feel so happy! How rare that a product is true, and that the money spent on it can make your life better and happier! I am very grateful!
